Online

On Monday evenings I hold a Zoom class online for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Start time is 7:00pm

The class includes one hour of yoga with a fifteen minute guided meditation/relaxation.

In Person

I teach a one and a half hour class at The Pavilion Brabyns Park Marple every Thursday at 10:15am.

This yoga class includes a guided meditation/relaxation to finish.

One to One

I hold one to one in person yoga classes.

This is the best way to learn yoga as I can give you my full attention in a quiet peaceful environment. Classes are held at my home or online.

Kathryn’s Profile

I have been practicing Yoga for twelve years and have been teaching for five years now. I am passionate about the attention to detail in my Yoga classes and love to share what I have learned with my students.

I teach students not just to “do” the poses but also to “feel” them, giving the student greater understanding of how their own body works. We practice breathing techniques which teach us how to breathe correctly and effectively. With this knowledge my students can use Yoga to relieve many ailments including pain and fatigue.

I have been taught by a variety of teachers including Iyengar Yoga Teachers, British Wheel of Yoga Teachers and British School of Yoga Teachers. I have learned much from each style of Yoga including the completion of the Foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga. My Diploma is with the British School of Yoga.

I offer a varied class suitable for beginners and those who have practiced for many years. All my classes include a guided relaxing meditation to end the practice after the muscles have been stretched, massaged and toned. This time encourages students to feel calm and relaxed in a safe environment with self awareness. My Yoga classes also offer a regular opportunity to step out of the distractions of everyday life to focus with awareness and to enjoy a better quality of life.
